Memorial Day

When I was young my grand parents called tomorrow Decoration Day, it was a big gathering day for the family. After a big dinner eaten picnic style we all gathered at the cemetery and cleaned the graves of family and placed flowers, after that work was done the ladies gathered in the kitchen and started supper and the men normally went fishing I really enjoyed seeing members of the family that we only saw once or twice a year, it was a good weekend for a young boy.
